Welcome to our classroom! I teach in a beautifully diverse South Bronx neighborhood where students know and understand what it means to work hard. Our school is a welcoming home to predominantly low-income students and their families. My students have not been privileged with the same opportunities that many of their higher income peers have, however, they consistently make the best of even the bleakest situations. What makes teaching these students so rewarding is the potential that they exhibit in their work. They are slowly but surely becoming the scientific thinkers of tomorrow. With your help we can continue to move forward. We can use physics and engineering to find solutions to the problems in our neighborhoods. We can become STEM leaders and innovators.
