Our school has limited funds due to residing in a rural low-income county. The school districts surrounding us get most of the money and the positive attention. An interactive smart board would allow my students to participate hands on with assignments. Rather than simply reviewing our map quizzes like with the overhead and markers, now I can send the image on the screen to their phones. My students can now take direct copies of our work on the board. Rather than demanding students copy the work down, I can quickly and easily send it to their phones. This will end student excuses, as well as tardiness for work. This technology will help provide differentiated learning and techniques to my kids. With better technology in the classroom, we are better able to differentiate our approach to teaching and learning. This project will allow me to help all students and encourage involvement beyond traditional means.
