These weekly magazines will provide my students with engaging reading materials that can help open their eyes to the world that exists outside of our classroom walls. Weekly, our class will read the magazines and have critical conversations about our reading - improving our comprehension and critical thinking skills. Students will have opportunities to write about their reading take their magazines home to share their learning with their families. All students deserve access to high-quality reading materials. Many of my students live in the neighborhood and walk to school each day. These magazines can help my students be exposed to the world around them and create global citizens that are ready to make a difference in the world.
