My fourth graders are filled with curiosity, laughter, and a zest for learning. They have so many stories to tell and ideas to share that often someone will incredulously wonder at the end of the day if indeed, "Is it really time to go home?" I love learning together and watching their independence develop throughout the school year. My public school is located in Chicago and the majority of our students come from low socioeconomic families. The range of my student's abilities and talents are so varied, it can be a challenge to keep up with them at times. But be assured, I certainly am up for it! I am so lucky to have had these 27 years filled with the most amazing people. I am honored to have had a role in each of my student's learning journey.
