My students truly define diversity. The International Baccalaureate program at our school is a mix of students from all over the district, and now, from all over the metropolitan area.This mix allows for a multicultural view of education. The high level of rigor in the IB program allows the students to practice a variety of skills. Each discipline includes multiple presentations, speeches, and written work. My kids have a variety of talents--some artistic, some musical, and others thrive in academic areas. For many of my students, the oral and presentation skills are those that most intimidate. This is the area I intend to develop.
