These books will help my students check out books to read at home and complete assignments that will reinforce the standards learned in their reading and writing class. These guided reading collections will also help my differentiated learning centers, because it will give students an opportunity to sit at the library center and read books on their level and feel successful. As I instill a passion for reading by telling students that reading can take you places, the books can actually allow students to read at home as a continuation of their reading in school. Students will improve their writing and their reading skills.
