Our school looks like our community, it's not a privileged group, but a motivated one. To quote our website and other sources, our school "has received the silver medal award from US News and World Report for being in the top 700 high schools in the nation out of over 31,000 schools, ranked 140th in California out of over 2,000 schools." "Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate is 70 percent. The student body makeup is 38 percent male and 62 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 77 percent." We have a wonderfully motivated student body, making it a joy to teach at this school!
