My students are first graders who come from diverse backgrounds. There are 5 different languages spoken by students in my classroom. There are students who come to me already reading chapter books, and those who are just learning to read letter sounds. Luckily, they are all coming into a classroom where, regardless of their current level, they will all be supported on their journey to become better readers and thinkers.
