"Cherish the children marching to the beat of their own music. They play the most beautiful heart songs." - Fiona Goldsworthy Our students' disabilities range from autism, down syndrome, intellectually delayed, and developmentally delayed. They are amazing kids and love to learn. Our school as a whole is accepting and helpful to our friends so much so that they have friends from all different grades coming to our classroom to read, work and play with them. The school supports our students as we go to State Special Olympics by throwing us a big walk around throughout the school and cheer us on the day before we leave. We make shirts to fundraise for us to go to Special Olympics and the friends around school buy them and wear them throughout the year for support. It's safe to say that our special friends are always thought of and included.
