My students need materials to help them organize their learning. These hardworking second graders need to be able to practice their learning and white boards are an excellent way to do that. They also need support organizing their papers and mailboxes will help them keep track of important papers and work that needs to go home. Working in two languages means children are responsible for lots of paper work! Student white boards are a wonderful classroom tool because students are able to quickly write, erase and move on, making using them a very efficient use of class time. Students utilize white boards during all subject areas and in both English and Spanish. We use white boards for independent practice, small group work and partner work but currently we do not have enough for each child to have one to work on and the few we do have are quite old and no longer erase easily making them frustrating for students to use. Your donation will help my six and seven-years-old manage their work and papers, a difficult task that will help them become more efficient, and make better use of class time. By supporting their learning, you are helping my young students have a great school experience, which will help them continue to succeed in the future.
