My student come from a Title 1 District (Low Economic Community). These kids (5th and 6th grade) are under extreme pressures, which are all around them everyday of their lives. T hey come to Honor Band to enjoy a little reprieve from their daily lives. They do it all with open hearts and a sense of pride and happiness. These students are smart, funny, happy, interested and most of all...they love music!
