The books requested will make a huge difference in my students reading experience. Students need lots of books that are on their reading level to choose from. These books will help my students learn to grow the love for reading and the love the characters they are reading. With many different levels of readers, some students with English as their second language. My classroom library needs plenty of low reading level books with high interest. The books I have selected are ones that my lower level readers enjoy and feel confident when they share about their characters and sections of the books. The books will give my students an opportunity to experience and learn from characters, things that they otherwise wouldn't. Every child deserves to be a reader and these books will inspire my students to read more! During the Reading Workshop time in our classroom the students read books that they choose and are just right books. The books will also go home daily to read as homework and for most of my students these books will be the only books that they have at home.
