To help with my students’ success, they need access to a variety of flexible seating options to give them enough wiggle room to move around, stay focused, and on tasks. Kindergarten is a fundamental time in a child’s life. I believe having endless opportunities for flexible seating is perfect for active learners. My students are unique and personalizing their learning is essential to their growth and development. Flexible seating can increase my students’ engagement and learning. My students need flexible seating, including wobble chairs and balance ball chairs. Flexible seating will give my energetic students endless opportunities for movement in the classroom and independence in their choices. Flexible seating means that students are not just sitting at desks and tables all day, but they are moving around to different parts of the classroom and using different types of furniture that work best for them.
