Who are my students? My students come from low socioeconomic families. It is a good day when these students make it to school. They have many worries outside the classroom, so my goal is to make the classroom their "safe haven." I teach students of all backgrounds: general education, special education, and English language learners. We are ALL a FAMILY! We are small fish in a BIG pond. We attend a school with a student number of 2,000.
