This year, my students are at a brand new school with a first year teacher! My 25 students come from primarily low-income families and many are English Language Learners. Despite the challenges they face, my students come to school every day excited to learn and full of love. At the beginning of the year, the majority of my students were below grade-level and now the majority are on or above grade level! My students have computer class once a week which they absolutely love. My students are growing up in a world full of technology and I believe they need increased access to technology in our classroom to reach their full potential. Many of my students do not have computers or iPads at home and once a week is just not enough!
