My students are curious and compassionate.They are oldest siblings who care for their little brothers and sisters so mom a dad can work. They are children of military waiting for their daddy to come home.They are small people who hear their parents argue over money behind closed doors and share the burden that has on them. They amaze me with their ability to be kind to each other in untaught situations.These are the things we share during morning meeting. Things that sadly I didn't always know about my former students.
