I teach 22 wonderful kindergarten students in a small farming community, in a Title One school. The majority of our students are on free and reduced lunch. My students are eager to learn and love when I project things up on the board. With state funding cuts our school has not been able to make the technological updates needed. We currently have four computers in our classroom. My students have a very difficult time being able to maneuver the mouse by themselves during stations. This causes them to become distraught and fear the computers. I want technology to be a POSITIVE experience for my students. It will be their future. My students will LOVE to use the iPad in the classroom! Having it will ease their fears and get them excited about learning stations.
