My students speak many different languages and come from countries that span all over the globe. Each individual student has a unique story to tell, however, it is not always easy to hear that story. All of my students are learning English as their second, third, or fourth language. They are incredibly talented human beings that I feel blessed to work with each and every day. However, the students in my class vary in the languages that they speak, so it is my goal that by the end of the year they will be able to learn English to the extent that they can reach out and connect with their fellow classmates not just in the ESL program, but in the other classes at the high school.
