These charging cables will create a safe charging space for students to charge their iPads should they need to in each of their classrooms. Because we are unable to use lockers, students' learning device accessories have been stolen. Further, students are afraid to charge their device in class where they may not be able to monitor it for the entire time. Instead, they prefer to leave it with the teacher to charge. This plan, while safe, is not very feasible for teachers. They need a central, visible spot in their classroom where students are easily able to charge and access their device. Our school has part of solution, with a charging port station for each classroom; we are just missing the cables to go in them. Help empower our students' sense of responsibility by giving them a safe space in the classroom to charge their device, keeping it ready for learning when they need it.
