One area my students struggle the most with is writing and identifying key concepts from regents aligned document based questions and the analysis of key concepts. Students will need these skills to effectively prepare for the Global History and Geography regents. My goal is for all students to pass this examination on their first attempt. In my classroom, we practice annotation and writing skills daily using various strategies. The addition of highlighters,maps,pens and other study materials will help my students prepare for this examination. Students who are confident in their writing abilities will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace.
