Thank you for supporting my classroom. I am a Resource Specialist Teacher servicing students with special needs in grades K-5 in the South Los Angeles area. My students have mild to moderate learning disabilities such as auditory processing disorder, visual processing disorder, dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. I help create Individualized Educational Plans (IEP's) for these students so that they are able to access the general education curriculum and remain in their classroom with their peers. I use evidence based practices in order to help fill the gaps in my students reading, writing, and math skills. I work with small groups so that I am able to target instruction specifically for their individual needs.
