My scholars are giddy and full of life, not full of teeth. Every morning when I greet them, I am usually surrounded by conversations about how someone has lost a tooth. These talks tend to be the most delightful ones. My scholars are diverse in their backgrounds, but not in their excitement to learn. I work at a Title 1 school; it is difficult for parents to supply their child with their school supplies. This is my first year of teaching and it is overwhelming. I wish that I could supply my classroom with everything that I will ever need to properly teach my scholars, and have them enjoy it as they learn. Utilizing new materials in my classroom, such as their own personal magnetic boards and colorful letter tiles will assist my scholars in creating words, that they will learn, as well as to create a fun and exciting learning environment.
