My high school scholars are from different walks of life. They are from a Title 1 school which is poor. They love to sing, write and watch videos in French. They love to create projects and love to hear themselves having conversations in French. Every semester, they have to learn 500 plus French words and that requires skills, techniques, and lots of materials to remember the words. You can not imagine how they feel when they see themselves speaking or writing more than 50 words after the first few weeks of school. Now imagine them writing 250 to 500 words or, better yet, speaking without any materials in their hands for 4 minutes or more. Please help my French scholars, they deserve to learn another language, another culture and mostly they gain confidence that they can take in the real world.
