My third graders come from a high poverty area but they are eager to learn and grow. Each one of them is excited about the new and fun things they will learn at school. Unfortunately, because we are located in a high poverty area money is limited. What this means is that I purchase the supplies and materials needed for my students. As a mother of two teenagers, this is a difficult task for me to pull off every year. I want each of my students to be successful in every area of their lives and will do whatever I can to ensure this happens.
