My students are all special education students who struggle in the areas of reading and writing. Many of my students live at or below the poverty level so their access to technology is limited, but they LOVE using technology. Unfortunately, my school district doesn't have the money to provide the students with 1 to 1 technology. Give my students the opportunity to utilize technology to learn reading and writing skills on a daily basis with their own classroom chrome book! The students will utilize the chrome books to access their online reading comprehension program, and they will also utilize the chrome books to increase their written expression skills, but also their typing and computer skills. I teach all the English classes at my Jr./Sr. high school for grades 7th through 12th. The impact that these chrome books will have on my kids will be huge.
