My students will have the ability to read an incredible book, The Princess Bride, and dive into this fairy tale. We will be using this book in a variety of ways from story plots to character analysis. This book has multiple protagonists and antagonists for them to analyze. We will be utilizing narrative writing as my student place themselves into the text alongside the existing characters. This book has everything to pull reluctant readers in: action, adventure, love, friendship, betrayal, swordplay and a happily ever after! This is an opportunity to allow my students to delve deeply into this exceptional book.
