Our school is a title 1 school, where 98% of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Do to the low income of their families the students here do not get the same opportunities or experiences as most children their age. The science lab is new in our school and the students are so excited to come here and learn. We have made solar ovens, slushies and much more. They absolutely love it and everyday I see them in the hall they ask when they can come back to learn about science. This class has opened their eyes to science and some tell me they want to be a scientist when they grow up. They have asked me to put a science club together so they can learn more even after school. They are great kids and I enjoy teaching them everyday!
