My students are driven to succeed. Each and every day I see them come in my classroom with this undying love of learning and a desire to be the best that they can. They realize that they are there for a purpose and are willing to work so that they can reach their goals by the end of the school year. My classroom centers around an idea of teamwork and by using a sports theme in my classroom, students quickly realize that we must all work together in order to achieve more. This creates a welcoming classroom environment in which my students feel comfortable to express themselves and to learn. My school also centers around a culture of academic achievement and teamwork which makes coming into school every day motivational and it sets the tone for our purpose of this entire school year. We believe that these rigorous reading goals will be met this year but in order for this to happen we must have a classroom library.
