My students are all students with special needs in first and second grade. My school is an urban, inner-city school with diverse, full-inclusion classrooms. All of my students receive free lunch services, come from impoverished homes, and 25% of my students are also English Language Learners who come from refugee families having escaped extermination and or persecution from their home countries.
