Hi! My name is Brittany Hummer, and this is my third year as an Exceptional Education teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools but my first year at Thomas Edison Elementary. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with my Master's Degree in Special Education. I have a strong passion for exceptional education, especially at the elementary level. I hold high, yet attainable, expectations for all of my students while sustaining a fun and safe learning environment. I grew up here in Antioch, Tennessee and graduated from Antioch High School. I am very proud to teach in the school district that raised me. I believe all children can learn and should be given the opportunity to do so.
