The students at my school are Title I students and my population is diverse. We have a large amount of ESOL students and also many high achieving students. They love learning but do not have the same opportunities at home as others. I would like to be the difference for them. What better way than with Legos! Legos encourage these students to be creative, to explore, to build and to use their imaginations--many of the things that are missing from society currently. We have never had a Lego club, however, most of my students flock toward these blocks when we have inside recess. The possibilities for creating are endless for these children that do not always have what others may have.
