I am a teacher at a high poverty school. Most of my students have very little resources at home (food, paper, pencil, crayons, etc...). Our school is 100% free and reduced lunch. For some of our students, the breakfast and lunch they get at school are the only meals they get. My goal is to help my students become successful so they can move on and graduate high school and college. I believe the foundation starts in kindergarten. In order to make them successful, they need to learn to read. I am seeking a classroom library that will instill a love of reading and learning. My students have a true desire to learn, they just need the resources to make it happen.
