These books will add to my students homes as well as to our classroom. While some of my students most certainly have huge home libraries, there are others who do not have many books at home at all. These books will all be read to the students first and some books will become apart of the home libraries of those students who need them while some books will remain apart of our classroom library to be reviewed over and over again. Continuing to have students see examples of themselves as well as others, is a key component to the compassionate-based learning that I know my students will all benefit from.
