I teach kindergarten at a school with large economic disparities. Our school district does not have the proper resources required of a technological age. Half of my students live below the poverty line and cannot afford the latest technology at home. We have wonderful diversity, but our school is located in a neighborhood far away from where many students live. Many students are bussed to school from several miles away. We don't hear their voices the way we should.
