My students are eager to learn about art every week. In the past two years they have continued to impress me with how much they have learned and how much they have grown. Coming from one of the most challenging areas in Chicago, I have seen them bring an awareness of the world to their art, that makes every piece amazing and exciting. They are capable of so much! I am continuing to build a strong visual arts program that will give students exposure to a variety of artists, materials, field trips and experiences, while also bridging a connection to the community.

About my class
