I strive to make my classroom function for my students. To do this, they need a comfortable place to go during their silent reading time and "escape" the real world for a while. The materials I am requesting will help them have that space in my classroom. My students are blossoming readers and I want to put the world at their fingertips. I want my students to fall in love with reading and have a comfortable place to do that! These students may never get the chance to go on an extravagant vacation or even leave the city they live in. With these materials, they can grab a book, lounge on the rug or prop themselves on a pillow, and let the everyday struggles go while they visit Hogwarts or go on a crazy adventure with the BFG.

About my class
