This is my first year having my very own classroom and I cannot wait to meet and get to know the outstanding first graders that will soon be walking into the doors of my classroom in September. Being a new teacher can get very expensive and with having almost 30 first graders projected for this year, I need to collect more resources for beginning readers. My school is a Title I school located in Oregon. Students at our school are kind, spirited, and eager to learn. The teachers and staff are extremely supportive of each student's uniqueness and are always striving to help students reach their full potential. First graders are incredibly enthusiastic about getting an opportunity to work with technology. Unfortunately there are no funds to help with technology resources at my school.
