My students come from poverty. They all receive free breakfast and lunch daily, and some even receive food to take home on the weekends. But, with that being said, they are the happiest, most generous, sweetest children I've ever met. They are constantly impressing me with their love of learning, their genuine care for others, and their innocence. We love to sit on the rug and talk about stories we have read, count down the days to the 100th day of school, and practice our letters and sounds.

About my class
