My students are at a crucial age: middle school. Many are trying to find where they fit in. Middle school is a very challenging time for many students. Over 70% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunches. For many of them English is their second language. They do not all have access to the latest technology or understand the importance of eating healthy and staying physically active.
