I teach 80-100 rural gifted elementary students. The children are very inquisitive and intelligent. I strive to provide my students with as many resources as possible to help them become competitive in today's changing world. With minimal funding from federal, state, and local channels, providing resources is difficult for a rural school! Donations from Donors Choose have been an integral part of my classroom to help my students learn and succeed. Children in low income and rural settings are at a great disadvantage if they do not learn how to use technology and participate in enrichment activities at school. Donations help level the playing field for these children. Students also enjoy school and learning more thanks to generous donations!

About my class
