My students come from all walks of life, and they ALL thrive when able to EXPERIENCE their education. These kids want to problem solve, be challenged, and use their ingenuity without fearing failure. I work in an environment where collaborating is expected, movement is a must, and cross curricular teaching is embedded into every lesson. Our administration, staff, parents and students have high expectations of one another and of themselves. Teaching at a school where Health and Physical Education are both treated as core content is an honor. Having students who are hungry learners and push me to be a better teacher daily increases my determination to provide needed teaching tools so that they can experience and master the material I present at the highest level possible.
