As a second-year teacher in a rural Title I school, my students range from 5th grade to 12th grade. I have over 100 students; English is not their first language. My students range from extremely language proficient to absolutely no English proficiency. My students strive to succeed, despite the language barrier. Some of them come from an extremely limited educational background, including no formal schooling at all.
