My students come from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds, although the majority of my students come from challenging economic circumstances. Despite this, students come to school and do some great work. Once they feel empowered to do so, students in my class thrive as young scientists. Young chemists in my classroom know how to work hard and creatively on challenging questions. With the proper tools, they will be unstoppable!
