Each of these materials provides K4 students with an engaging and fun opportunity to learn through play. Our state Pre-K program is wonderfully dedicated to learning through designed play lessons that are developmentally appropriate. Building allows children the opportunity for fine-motor growth, problem solving, sharing, and flexibility in their thinking. Games provide a way to engage children in the learning process in a way that is fun and unexpected. Science allows children to explore and discover the wonder that is this world and the things in it. In a day when play has taken a back seat to technology, it is ever more important to allow children the chance to use their imaginations and creativity.
