I have 25 third graders who are all learning Spanish as a Second Language! They are so bright and intelligent. I love watching them discover this bilingual self! Our school starts teaching Spanish in kindergarten and continues on into high school! It's an amazing community of students, parents and teachers! By the time they come to me in third grade, they have a good handle on their new language and they're ready to explore. I love sharing great pieces of literature with them in Spanish!
