I am a new Teach for America Teacher excited to enter the classroom in the fall. My 3rd graders are going to be a diverse group of 8-9 year Olds coming from an underprivileged section of Tulsa Oklahoma. I can't wait to ignite an interest in reading though fun and exciting non fictional text. Our school is excited to grow student passion and excitement in the classroom this year through not only imaginative text, but dedicated teacher that want to make a difference.
