I work with 5 and 6 year old students in a Kindergarten classroom. Students at this age have a very short attention span and need to move around quite often. Center time activities are very appropriate to do at this grade level because the students can't sit still for very long. Also, this will be our first year that we have all day Kindergarten instead of half day. This makes for a very long day and I know my students will need movement.
