If funded, 20 chair pockets will be ordered from Amazon Business for use in my classroom. Each student will have a pocket that hangs from the back of his/her chair. Students will keep their journals and other personal school supplies in the pockets. When needed, students have their things at their seats. The chair pockets will be reused for multiple years. With tables, students have no defined personal space in which to store their supplies as they do in desks. Tables can be easily cluttered, with student work and supplies often misplaced or mixed up. Chair pockets will help us avoid this problem.
