I will use this Stock Market Game simulation to help my students learn about the financial markets. For most of my students, this will be the first time they have heard of stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. They will learn how to research stocks to find the opening and closing price, the 52 week high and low, the beta, the P/E ratio and much more. They will also learn how headline news impacts the prices of stocks in the market. My students will learn how to work in teams and collaborate to make decisions as they build an investment portfolio. This project will certainly stick with students and prove helpful for their futures.
