Our school has a great amount of students coming from a low income household. Many of the parents work two jobs leaving their children unattended and taking care of themselves after school. Many parents arrive late at night. At that time the parent starts dinner and hopefully has time to help with H.W. The only chance many of these students have to experience creative things or travel out of their home town is through their school.
